2 Sdc2.5's or 1 Hdc3?

I'm planning on upgrading my system now that Christmas is over. I was wondering if I should get 2 Sdc 2.5's or 1 hdc3. I have a 1990 corolla. I'm not sure what size to get. I listen to everything but mainly metal. I'm running off a stock alt but am planning to upgrade that do the big 3 and buy a battery. I also am ordering a Lanzar opti700x2 for midbass. So if I could get any info on what I should do about electrical and subs it'd be greatly appreciated.

if your going towards 2 sdc2.5 10s,12s or 1 hdc3.0 10,12

i would do the 2 sdc2.5s cause more power and cone area

but how loud are the sdc2.5's I just dont want to keep upgrading my system. If it will definitely be worth it i could get an aq2200d and 1 hdc3 and just add another hdc3 down the road.

they're as loud as you make them.

the real question is wattage you want to use versus the space you want to use them in.

If you want to use 6,000 watts rms and only have room for 2 15's. then the hdc3's are for you.

Thanks man. I think I might just do it right and save for some hdc3's and a 2200

My son has 2 12" SDC's off a 1500D in his CR-v and it did a 142 on music first time he metered it having NO idea what he was doing. Very respectable for a daily driver and keeps up with double kicks quite well.

I'd do 2 SDC's off the 2200 as cone area/motor strength will be better for daily pounding. 35-38Hz tuning with 16^2 port area and around 4.25cubes net. Will have plenty of punch for metal and still play down to 30Hz with authority.
