my biggest thing is i have to find a custom way of making my steering wheel controls work.

i googled around and its not as "custom" as i thought, most places say just add the wires into the correct place on the harness.

i gotta pull my dash to see what im working with first hand though.

anyways, this is what ive chosen so far, any issues?

the HU has sub/mid/tweet controls with 4v preouts. (by controls i mean EQ customization)

I got that H/U Actually just put it in my truck a few days ago. So far I love it no complaints, ipod/usb intergration is easy to use, eqs pretty nice

hows the EQ and stuff on it? as far as customizing the sub settings

and can you select playlists through the HU instead of the ipod?

I haven't messed with it too much, but you basicly for sub/mid/high in the eq its level -8 to +8, frequencies range you can all set. On stock speakers non amplified It got my truck sounding alot better. You should pm TwoStrokeKing as he also has this h/u iirc

Edit : Yeah you can select the playlist, folders and search through the h/u or you can change it to change off ipod, h/u shows the song name or what folder your in when ipods connected.

sweet, thats pretty much all i care about besides the steering wheel controls, but there is a work around for that.

and for $109 bucks.. at first i was like, man get what you pay for.. but it looks and sounds like a decent single din unit.
