6 cu is fine, just make sure you have the proper port area 13-15 sq in per foot

you might want to double check with some of the more experienced guys such as ram_designs or 412 CVX..

but i really think you should be fine with like 6 cu ft

3ft3 net per sub will be fine if you have a legit 3000w of clamped power. If you are running a random 3k amP per sub at 1 ohm then you will not get 3k per sub.

If you are planning on 1500w per sub then something along the lines of 3.75-4ft3 net per sub would be preferable.

If you look at the specs for an xl and if you run around 13" of port you will probably get port noise. DC's like big ports from what I have seen over the years.

DC's and small ports is like having a Mustang with a 4cyl........
