How much power do i NEED

Recommended Posts

20k on two level 5s. hoooooolllllllly shit.

ok well, theres a few problems besides the obvious ones..

20k watts is like 4 alternators, and 10 D3100s.. (i believe... i could be wrong..)

buttt, unless you have.. oh say like.. $10-15,000 laying around.. money is an issue.

first of all you've obviously NEVER have been in the service. second whats so far fetched about this?

firstly i never claimed to be in the service, i was simply stating that fifteen thousand dollars is a shit ton of money to just drop on equipment for someone who thinks that they can run 10 thousand watts to a level 5.

and whats so far fetched? if you have to ask.....

Well a wall, or bandpass.

Lots of electrical upgrades.

H/o alt or alts..

Configure a way to place multiple batts plus amps in hatch area.

And lots of experience because 9k to each lvl 5 is a lot of power

well i figure if i go from headrest basically back to trunk taking seats carpet interior erverything out and matting the straight steel frame of the car i could gain a rediculous amount of space then what i would be working with if i would do like a yellowtop under the hood with 2 alts i would jus need to dind out how much it would be to power the two 9k like what kinda alts and what kinda batt to buy to power it bar off the circuts so i wouldnt lose ampage through wiring as you can tell this will be my first REAL project but im trying....

You will need more than 2 alts and mass batts to be able to support 18k daily.

Plus the strain of weight and on the engine with having multiple alts.

so an idea ur saying that 1 of the 9k amps to a lvl 5 is sumb what if i go 2 9ks and 4 18s walled from headrest back id still be pushing 20k through a collective of 72 inch of sub so would i blow them out still or would it be able to handle?

and what dose walling mean im literally just walled off from the headrest back and elimanateing the side pannels for the box just a fron and a back to max space with everything in between matted and sealed?
