Just make sure the HPF filter is not too low as they are not a midbass and will overexcurt if played too low. agreed. i got 4 wired at 2ohm to 2 channels bridged on my sundown 100.4 which means each channel is seein 1 ohm and they sound good. And LOUD. it almost seems the farther you step back from the car the louder they get. being PA speakers they really aren't meant to be heard up close, like inside a car, so yes they will sound louder/better when you step back a little.
