I am hoping not to kill all of my trunk space as well, but I believe as long as I can easily remove it, I'll be satisfied. For example. Would I have a box with seperate sub chambers. Each tuned to the specs & dimensions listed below? Also, kinda off topic for this post, but since the frequency response is 33Hz; do is that what I would set my amp to? Sozzzz Posted January 2, 2012 Report Share Posted January 2, 2012 (edited) If you're talking about the sub sonic filter then turn it to 5-10hz below your tuning frequency. 10hz below if you aren't running much power to your subs and know how to control the volume knob properly. I believe the FS is just what the speaker is "naturally" tuned to. If you were to free air it I think the would be the loudest at 33hz but I'm not 100% sure. That means I could sell the amp & uprade. & any box suggestions? actually i just built my box for my 2 skar 12s. ill post my torres calc. your obsidians should do pretty good in it too. edit: i just remembered that obsidains like smaller boxes so this might not be the best for you. unless you feel like doing alot of bracing.
