I sold my 3k amp so Im using an old school Audiobahn A12001DT amp for now. It does 1200rms at 1ohm so I dont wanna get something it wont push or will blow up lol Quote 08' Pontiac Grand Prix Black on Black Kenwood Deck 2 Polk Audio MM1540DVC's Audiobahn A12001DT amp Polk Audio DB351's in dash, DB6501's in the doors, DB691's in the rear panels Polk Audio PA500.4 amp Old box 6.2 cubes at 32Hz best score 144.5db at 43Hz New box 5.0 cubes tuned to 35-36Hz still need to meter
TeamHT
Sounding good is different than SQ and loud is not the same as SPL. I would say provide a budget, space available, and power would be good places to start when fishing for suggestions. Although if I have to assume I would say no matter what sub you go with you aren't going to notice the biggest differences one way or the other. The box im using was built in the trunk so theres no taking it out unless its destroyed and removed piece by piece. Im trying to find 15's that will work nicely in it, its like 3.1 or 3.2 per sub im not exactly sure though. The Polk MM 15's say they will work in 2.5 or more cubic space thats why Im kinda leaning toward em. You think to P3 or P2 15's would give me good boom but clean bass? tlee2
are you trying to put both 15s in 6 cubes in a trunk? you might be better off with one 15" or two 12s Quote 6 Sundown X 15s 2 Sundown NS1 V2s C Pillar 4th order Bagged Suburban on 24s http://youtube.com/tlee333
Lilnate107
are you trying to put both 15s in 6 cubes in a trunk? you might be better off with one 15" or two 12s Yeah the box is originally made for SPL and fires into the cabin. I was hammer out 143.4 on 1500rms with my I.Pipes, they needed more space then I had available though :/ they want like 4.3 cubes per sub or something like that. Ive only got 6-6.1 cubes to play with :[ Quote 08' Pontiac Grand Prix Black on Black Kenwood Deck 2 Polk Audio MM1540DVC's Audiobahn A12001DT amp Polk Audio DB351's in dash, DB6501's in the doors, DB691's in the rear panels Polk Audio PA500.4 amp Old box 6.2 cubes at 32Hz best score 144.5db at 43Hz New box 5.0 cubes tuned to 35-36Hz still need to meter
