OrangeJuiced
Then worked on all the wiring. Good thing my dad is an electrical engineer because he did work on this thing. To pop the doors from the inside he used the stock buttons. Unlock opens my door and Lock opens the passenger door. Driver side door can only be opened from drivers door. He also wired so the doors could not be opened while the truck is started just for safety, but he wired a module to roll the windows down in case the truck was running and the door shut. We also installed stock power windows and used the stock switches. Honestly, the wiring in this truck amazes me. I'm very lucky to have a dad that knows how to do this stuff and is willing to teach me along the way. Well anyways, on with the pictures. Not too many of the interior, but during the audio process I'll include a lot. Ok, now this is my favorite part, besides audio of course. The fabrication. We designed and built our own 6 link. It is very similar to kp's 6 link, but set up for hydraulics and hand built. fixed watt's link haha 2001 GMC Sierra Build. 99fullsizechevy
Very impressive work dude!! Looks awesome, color looks great, sweet wheels, and you actually painted it right, most people I see anymore like the just slap on some color and not take any pride in their work.. I give you props on a very clean truck And the suspension is nice as well, IMO bags > hydros but I like it none the less Laying frame soon.. System has to wait
OrangeJuiced
Thanks for the feedback guys. Still have quite a bit of pictures. Dog bones Done and painted And now time for the hydraulics. Most of you have batteries in the back for your systems, mine are used for suspension haha. Battery rack If you have any questions about the hydraulic set up, or any at all, just ask. Locked out (maximum height) Here is the truck at a local car show. Grandma!Haha 2001 GMC Sierra Build. The truck was rushed, but still done the right way. I am actually very pleased with the hydraulics. Everything for them came with the truck and I would've lost a lot of money if I sold the set up and purchased bags so we went with the hydraulics. With the accumulators, its rides very smooth and besides charging the batteries, they are very easy to take care of. 2001 GMC Sierra Build.
