Help Calculate Air Space

Recommended Posts

So got a couple questions.

1) Can someone calculate the air space in this box for me. DONT forget to account for .75 wood thickness as these are exterior dimensions.

2) My first box failed because I soon realized wood thickness wasnt 3/4" all around some spots were weird thickness so when I re-did it as seen below there are some fukny lengths and depths. Is there away to easily change that on google sketch?

3) For the top dogs chiefs out there who can help me design a port for this box. I need it to be tuned to 32hz with 15 ft3^

There are not enough dimensions there to calculate the volume.

Need one additional horizontal dimension across the bottom piece, or the angle of that lower angled piece to calculate the volume.

Any volume calculations from that drawing would have to make assumptions, or measure that angle as close as possible with a protractor.

Current system:

1997 Blazer - (4) Customer Fi NEO subs with (8) American Bass Elite 2800.1s

Previous systems:

2000 Suburban - (4) BTL 15's and (4) IA 40.1's = 157.7 dB at 37 Hz.

1992 Astro Van - (6) BTL 15's and (6) IA 40.1's = 159.7 dB at 43 Hz.

Added two dimensions on that lower piece I hope one of them is what you were looking for.111111.png
