i had my wires on different sides and had no engine noise, then i had a shop run new wires on my truck a month ago they ran it on same side as rca and i got engine noise now

OK for one you had a shop do it. That means you don't know what you are doing.second rcas are shielded mow. Back in the day they weremt.that's where that rule came from. Don't buy shit product and you don't have to worry about it. I've done dozens of cars on the same side without issue

if i had a shop do it it dont mean i dont know how to do it, it was a choice i made and didnt want to go through the trouble of running multiple runs of 1/0 gauge and take apart my interior to install the dynomat, had a few hours and had to get it done cause i had to do other things and would have taken me ages to do it, and i have another post where i say im never taking it back to a shop and will do things myself since theey screwed up on my grounds holding 2 wires together with zip ties and tape

edit: i did the install with no engine noise, now i have to check my ground to check if they are bad. most likely i don't have a good ground

I would try and find an amp to test In place of yours. If it plays fine you know you have a bad amp.
