In my 03 toyota matrix hatchback, my subs are in a audio store regular dual 12 sealed box. the box is not big enough to stop moving around in the trunk of the car, there is like 12 inches on each side but the wheel wells pop up in the trunk and i was wondering if i should build a custom box that fits perfectly back there or just build like 2 wings to fill the space and attach them to the box already so the box is sturdier.

ty, and you guys have some sick setups, i always thought mine hit hard but not anymore, mine is garbage compared to you guys.

well then get some velcro strips and attach then to the box and floor. will keep it from sliding and is still removable from the vehicle.

yeah it works just put the plastic loops of the velcro on the trunk not the box (use plenty) and it will grab the box carpet. but Decafs Idea was good too!
