Help With Strapping

So then Run a - from the top 2 to the slave and a + from the bottom 2 to the master? like this

this one will work.

Those coils are still in opposite phase.

The positive goes from one coil to the negative on the other with a jumper, that will make the coils go in opposite phases, unless there's something in the mess of a picture I'm missing.

Your talking about the blue wire connecting the positive and negative on each sub right? That doubles the impedance of the sub, so if its a dual 1 sub that makes it 2ohm.

Your talking about the blue wire connecting the positive and negative on each sub right? That doubles the impedance of the sub, so if its a dual 1 sub that makes it 2ohm.

But the way that looks it's like he's putting the positive from the amp to a positive coil, and to a negative coil, with a JUMPER, no coil in between or anything, that's not right. Those coils woild be trying to go in the opposite direction.

I don't understand what your saying... Each sub is wired in series, Then the top 2 are wired in parallel and the bottom 2 are wired in parallel then the 2 sets of 2 subs are wired together in parallel.

no... jumpers dont swap phase, wiring the negative to the postive ON THE AMP switches the phase aka reverse polarity.

edit: i do see a flaw in it i didnt see before though.

I don't understand what your saying...

The way this looks, the coils inside the sub will be trying to go opposite ways due to being wired in opposite phase. The positive from the amp, is going to the first positive on the sub, correct? then with a jumper, it's connected to the other coil's negative jumper, so that means that the first coil will be trying to go outwards from the motor, while the other coil will be trying to go towards the motor. since the current will be traveling opposite directions in the first sub's coils, it won't excurt as normal, just vibrate, stink, then finally blow.

If anyone else is reading this, and has a better way to explain, please chime in.
