ThatGuyWithAJetta
Ok so I have been reading on here about building boxes and how to design ported boxes. so today i designed a box using torres' box tuning calculator and this is what i came up with, the tuning sheet, a slightly angled view of the front of the box could look, and the box from above, the lines are to show how far out the subs will go out, this is a box for two Rockford Fosgate Punch z 10's. This is my first design that i think is right so any help with changes i should do will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, KCowboy620 Edit: oops didn't notice i put forst instead of first in the title Edited January 8, 2012 by KCowboy620 Quote !999.5 Volkswagen Jetta 1 Planet Audio BIg Bang 15 Powerbass 1500,

CleanSierra
Looks really good on the final design. Not sure how much power you're gonna run to those Z's but be careful. They were entry level subs from years ago, so watch how much power you feed to them. The design of the box looks really solid though, you should be impressed. Guest
just as a precautionary measure, i'd put some 3/4" dowel rods going from top to bottom, and side to side. you want as little box flex as you can get (none)
ThatGuyWithAJetta
Thanks guys i'm only looking to run about 200 watts to each sub and i will make sure to put in some dowels when i build it, thanks again to everyone who has helped me.
