      I understand its part of life but its just like i have been obsesed with car audio for like four years now and have not once had anything in my car and finally i got a decent tax return had everything planned out then bam had to basically put brand new brakes on the back of my car and now i have not a penny of it left, it just sucks being so excited for something then have to have completely ripped out from under you.

    Don't think I have ever introduced myself, my name is Jared I have actually been here lurking for about 4 years posting occasionally and asking questions. Cars in general are my life and i don't consider myself a normal car guy because i don't just like one kind of vehicle, i pretty much like everything. Currently no system but hoping to get a system here soon seeing as i'm getting a new vehicle soon.

    So I'm sitting here taking my door panels off0 in order to put my window back on track and i found out that after two years of owning this car it had Pioneer speakers in the doors the whole time which explains why they sound as good as they do haha

    So today I ran out gas and this guy comes up and he goes you need help and i was like yah i ran out of gas so we go and get gas which was a five gallon can and he pays for it and i was like like me go run in and get some money and he goes dont worry about it, and i tried to give him the money i had in my wallet and he was like no you keep it, someday this will happen to someone else someday and you will be there to help them. It made me realize there is still hope for this world

      i have giving someone money for gas, a complete stranger just like that guy did for you. i have yet to see any sort of good dead done back in return for me but i hope that me helping that one person made them help one person so on and so forth

      i try to help people when ever i can. my gf wont though, he parents have her head filled with if you help people they will eff you over some how, like they wont pull a car out of the ditch if its stuck becuse they think everybody will sue them for damages. but i pull people out f the ditch alot and there pretty thankful for it and try to give me money but i say the same thing because people have helped me in the past. there is hope in some people

    I love talking to people who only know mainstream audio, the other day I was telling a guy in my auto body class about a certain build with some 18's and he goes are you sure they weren't 15's because the only 18's i have ever seen were volfenhag and they are really expensive I then went on to name some brands that have 18's and he was like I have never heard of those I just shook my head and stopped talking about it with him

    if you search around the internet you can find more info but from what I know you want a 2:1 or 3:1 ratio with sealed being the smaller side of the ratio and the sealed side should be the recommended size, and for port is should be tuned between 42-48hz depending on if it's a daily setup or spl
