Sealed Box for 8's

Doing 8's in sealed boxes behind my front seats to create a sort of 4-way stage, 5 if you count the 12". Anyway, the DC site says to use .5 cu ft for an 8. Would they be okay in smaller space? Say .3 or .4 cubes?

Should be good. That is about what I am going to have in mine. I am also only running 2 on a 1.2k at .5

I'll let you test that. I'm doing my pair on the 1.2k at 2 ohms. Safe and clean. But if it works for you, I may have to wire down.

The 8s have been m2s for awhile. If theere are what look like risers between the basket and motor then they are m2.

The 8's have been m2 for a while now. But yes, they are 600rms whereas the m1's were 300rms. I popped an m1 on a RF t500-1 when they were first released.
