Getting feedback noises from speakers and sub...help?

hello SMDer's,

i have a problem that has recently popped up...

im getting feedback noises from my mids and highs and subs...

when i brake, my speakers make a low "click" noise, only audible if volume is turned up past 15.

when rolling the volume knob up anywhere from 0-20, you can hear a "clicking" noise coming from the speakers and subs...

when i turn my headlights on, i get a "pop" noise as well from the speakers and subs, but its only when you turn on and off, not continuously.

I also get a fain "shhhhhhh" noise from the speakers when no music is playing.

i do not get alternator whine from accelerating or idling, but i do get brake noise, which is a "click" noise from the speakers.

Triple checked all power/ground connections?

They make noise eliminators for the "shhhh" you decscribed.. I listened to all the headunits turned up with 0 music and got one that didn't do this and, doesn't no matter what the input is; so I guess I got lucky.

Also, when I turn on and off my car (ONLY SOMETIMES), I get a high pitched discharge noise. In another thread I was in this got ruled out as neediing a relay. I haven't gotten around to getting one, but when you find them on sites they describe my issue.

I'm sorry this info is sloppy, it's late. and sorrry if you knew about this stuff already.

edit: I read somewhere splicing turn-on wires isn't a good idea.. (personally, mine is spliced)

Check the power wiring possible relocation for ground loop isolators work to eliminate noise....

in the cabin, they are ran separate on each side. but meet up in the back because of the batts and where amp is at...

haha yep.. that's why I haven't gotten the 'pop stopper' yet.. but I just got into a better paying job so it's about that time.

i tried grounding my rca on the back of my HU, no luck.

i did this because i heard Pioneers have this weird problem after the internal fuse pops.

Now im getting alternator whine....

what is going on?

should i ground my headunit directly to my bat?

I don't think it would hurt to try. Maybe even any ground other than the one from the harness? That's how my deck is grounded. From the back of the radio to a piece of metal behind the dash. Hope this helps!
