I'm finding when you buy pre-fabbed boxes and set-ups, you don't fully understand, therefore fully appreciate what goes into a good quality sound system, nor do you have the fun of customizing what you want it to look like, or sound like for that matter, and pre fabbed boxes aren't always to specs. When you buy your own materials, it's more fun, a better learning experience, and it's much cheaper than to pay for the labor costs of pre-made boxes, then eventually YOU can start making money off of it by building or helping to build others boxes!
