pimpnFosgates Posted January 9, 2012 Report Share Posted January 9, 2012 so i have the part of my trunkthat im going to make a mold of, so i can turn it into a sub box. what i need to know is ,is the masking tape enough so the resin doesnt stick to my trunk or is there something i have to lay down to keep it from sticking to my trunk. Audio-Concepts Posted January 9, 2012 Report Share Posted January 9, 2012 You can lay down foil on that, and then either use wax, or WD40, coat the foil, then lightly spray trim glue, lay matting, and then resin. Use about 2-3 layers of matting, let cure completely, the pull the mold, foil and mold should come out nice and easy!
