FroznBeavrBALLs Posted January 15, 2012 Report Posted January 15, 2012 i think you would have to take that flared port off and make your own. 2 DC 12" lvl 4s 1 DC 1.2k XS Power S3400 big 3 Alll KNU wire Pioneer HU cheapo Legacy coaxes (just for now) http://www.stevemead...n-sentra-build/
wmrcs Posted January 15, 2012 Author Report Posted January 15, 2012 i think you would have to take that flared port off and make your own. Yip that's how I'm going to start. I've only built boxes off of designs people have made for me so I don't fully understand how to tune a port besides that more port=lower tuning? How could I make the port bigger if I took this flare thing out? E34 540iT/6

wmrcs Posted January 15, 2012 Author Report Posted January 15, 2012 invert the sub(s) is the easist way to lower it. How does that create more port area? Bigger box=lower tuning too? I'll do that. ha sounds fun E34 540iT/6

You could add a better substage... What do you mean better substage? I have a big sheet of MDF so I could build a better box but these subs aren't worth much time to me because really it's fine how it is but I want it to peak at like 38hz instead of 45 if possible. Substage just means you bass. you can break down a system by stages, high/mid/low. the low is the bass ergo substage. There can be more stages but thats basically what i mean. And the best way to lower your tuning is to get a box that is tuned lower. You could do different things that may help but may not be what your looking for. But it may be, you never know. 2 DC 12" lvl 4s 1 DC 1.2k XS Power S3400 big 3 Alll KNU wire Pioneer HU cheapo Legacy coaxes (just for now) http://www.stevemead...n-sentra-build/
