SQMonte Posted January 16, 2012 Report Posted January 16, 2012 I found a spot that is selling DD subs and they had a 3512 on hand so I was checking it out and seen something I've never seen before.....integrated tinsels. So then I was inspecting the glue joints, just checking to see if it was legit or an obvious bootleg attempt but I couldn't tell. I did snap some pics though. Everything else about the sub looked just like my DD 2512 but I just wasn't sure, does it look legit? It just threw up a red flag to me since I had never seen it before. No other pics, that's all I took. That is typical DD, just like I said a sloppy recone, and what looks like a broken triple joint. Here are some of my old DD9518s, probably 3+years ago. Its hard to see on this picture but you can make out the raised spider where the tinsels run through. And another when the cone is pulled out, a little clearer.
