wiring question

alright so i just ordered one of these

but i dont have an amp (money dosent allow)but i have a legacy 300w 4ch. so i was wondering could i wire one coil up to one channal and the other to the next channal. i dont think this amp is bridgibal but can someone spreade some light on this for me. all help is greatly aprechiated.

sell the legacy amp its a cheaper model.

Dont use Cheap amps with better sub bad s*** happens

Yes, you can wire one could to each channel. Each channel will give lower wattage, because you're only asking it to send power at 4 ohms. It WILL work just fine though.

If you wire both negatives from each coil to one negative terminal on ONE channel and both positives from each coil to the positive terminal on the other channel, that's bridged. Usually the outside terminals on the amp(far left positive/negative) are the terminals for bridging.

I don't think a "high excursion" sub with 13MM of XMAX is a great sub by any means. As long as he runs his gain at a reasonable setting and has a good solid enclosure, he will be fine.

You need to provide a mono signal to the 2 channels you pick to drive the sub and make a big box for it to increase efficiency.

alright and later on i will be gettein a mono block a nd a 1.5 cubed box will be made. im not makeing it veryloud its going in my bed room for a in home stereo. so for now ill run it on my cheap little amp. the only reson i use this amp inside is cuz when i had it in my jeep it got a little we and now picks up major road/altonator nosie.

Make sure you have good home owners insurance. House fires get expensive :)
