ChevyBoy95
-for 2500 rms, that is pretty much alternator territory, 2 big batts would probably suffice though. But one of those big batts costs just a tad less than a nice alt. -get a deck, you will like it in the long run as far as features and sound (try and get a 4v pre out, not 2v) -if you didnt get a new deck you would need the thing N8 said which is an LOC (line out converter) Quote Best Score to Date : 160.5 dB Outlaw (47Hz)[4 XM 15's & 2 Taramps Bass 12k's] BL : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/147800-chevyboy95s-4-15s-7krms-wall-1533-db-on-half-power/YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/hitemwiththeflex/

412 CVX
and will i need a 2nd battery for a fi btl 12 and a 2500d i would think a single D3100 under the hood would suffice if you could fit it, but i'm no expert here Quote Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs. hdorre
and will i need a 2nd battery for a fi btl 12 and a 2500d What amp? Theres a major difference between a Lanzar 2500 and Rockford T2500 I would personally get the alt though.. if the amp does rated. If you decide to upgrade from this setup, youll most likely need a high output alt anyway. and i was wondering if someone can help me with designing a box RAM_Designs so should i get like a 200amp alt or just buy 1 big battery to put in the back IF you got the alt route, I would recommend Mike Singer, Mechman, and DC Power. Theyre all well known on teh forums Edited January 22, 2012 by hdorre Quote On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread

hdorre
so i couldent just get a 2nd batt and have it in the back You could, but isnt your battery under the hood a wet cell? I wouldnt just throw an AGM batt in the back. The AGM and wet cell have different resting voltages. If theyre connected in parallel, then the voltage will try to "level out." This will slowly harm your batteries. So, if you go AGM in the back.. go AGM up front too. I was told this by a very smart man.
