bmph8er
Anyone ever use one of these? The retail is $399.99 but from my work I can get these for $222.49. They are rated for 200 amp and are built of a ad244. I'm thinking about running a few of these in my truck but can't find any reviews on them. Any info would be great thanks Quote 2001 gmc seirra 5.3 auto 3.73 locked rear, long tube headers, offroad y pipe, duals, cai, black bear tune, 2/4 drop, 22s, rockford fosgate mods and highs and 4 ab hd 15s and a ab 750.1 1995 civic 1.5 auto slower then hell, dropped on coil overs, ex hub caps, 2 12 trunk, have 450 bucks in the car and gets 35 mpg 1992 s10 being bagged, shaved, and small stereo. right now a pile of parts

Agreed, real world output at idle and warm, less than 100 amps. *Edit-If you need that voltage near 1300-1500 RPM, then it might be a good choice. The price is very good Edited January 20, 2012 by CleanSierra Quote Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
audiofanaticz
imo $399 is very expensive for only a 200amp alternator, even with your discount its getting pretty close to that is it worth it price. But if it has a lifetime warranty or anything like that like most autoparts stores have, it maybe worth it.
bmph8er
ya it has a lifetime warr. thats the main reason i was even thinking about it. plus its not some ebay alt where if i tear it up i just gotta go 1 mile from my work 6 miles from my house. im wanting to get a few real alts but by the time you buy 2 or 3 high amps thats a big kick in the wallet. but i know ya gotta pay to play Quote 2001 gmc seirra 5.3 auto 3.73 locked rear, long tube headers, offroad y pipe, duals, cai, black bear tune, 2/4 drop, 22s, rockford fosgate mods and highs and 4 ab hd 15s and a ab 750.1 1995 civic 1.5 auto slower then hell, dropped on coil overs, ex hub caps, 2 12 trunk, have 450 bucks in the car and gets 35 mpg 1992 s10 being bagged, shaved, and small stereo. right now a pile of parts
