I havnt built the port yet so im not sure what kind of area and length i will need and also how much box space the port will take. So far im leaning toward slot port, 13x5 single port , 14.4in length for 30hz does this soound about right? Joe X Posted January 22, 2012 Report Posted January 22, 2012 Well you don't say what sub(s) so forgetting about sub displacement your box would spec as follows: Fb = 31,085 Hz Vb = 7,694 ft^3 You are low on port area. Port Area/Vb = 8,448 minimum is usually considered 12.
