Hey fellow smd members i have been wondering for awhile now how to properly set the boost gain on an amp. I have the proper rms for my subs and the frequncy and everything set but i was wondering if i should use the boost gain and if i do what should i set it to?

i can only imagine how many times the DD-1 will come up in this convo. but as for that sexy little bass boost knob you speak of, id turn it up no more than a little under halfway... if at all. that knobs a tricky one and could do some damage to your subs.

EDIT: or are you talking about the gain?

I would turn it..well i wouldn't even turn that bass boost on haha.. but if you enjoy clipping go ahead =)
