I ordered an extra set of dustcaps. I plan on either painting them white with a blue Detroit Lions decal, or paint them blue with a white decal. Hopefully I can make them turn out decent!

Any advice on painting dustcaps?

So I did the deed today of removing some window tint off my front windows. I am tired of getting fix it tickets and getting pulled over. Also recently got my concealed pistol license so I'm not looking to get stopped as often.

Thought it would take forever according to some people but I did a little research and decided to try this.

Get it started by holding it in one spot for awhile, then just peel it with your nail. Once started just keep pulling it slowly so that the glue comes off with the tint.

Keep holding the steamer an inch or so away from the glass and keep peeling. Helps to wear gloves since the steam can burn you.

It completely removes everything as if it was never there. Took about 10 minutes per window!

Done deal! Wish I would've done it sooner.

Cost about $30, but I'm just going to go return it now

I'm still surprised I didn't need a razor and goo gone. Thought forsure I'd end up scraping it all night lol.

So it was raining out and I was bored. Layed down some deadener in the cargo floor area. I see alot of people do it, so why not.

Always clean the surface with some Dawn Dish Soap.

Doesn't need to be 100% coverage as the bend is pretty strong. Just wanted to hit the middle where it's a large flat surface.

Im glad its so damn hot and sunny all the time the cops could care less if you have dark tint here.

Haha Youve seen my trucks windows, i have yet to have an issue for the tint, i have however gotten a ticket for the team asshole banner

Yea down the road I might try to get a prescription because my eyes are sensitive to light. It really does help with the tint.

It helps that i have 35% on windsheild then a eyebrow ONTOP of it so it doesnt look tinited at first glance

And sticker was " obstruction of view" But when sitting in drivers seat i can see perfectly fine lol

Driving with a tinted windsheild is awsome. No glare at night, no need for sunglasses Super easy on the eyes as well
