Could someone explain it a little further? simple, your goal is to get 32 pounds worth of gold. ok so a scenario. say u are bidding for a 2 pound stone, thats a light piece so u don't wanna bid your 4, 5, or 6 pound stone. so i would say your 2 or 3, but if ur opponent does bid high don't worry cuz now they just screwd themselves. cuz later down the road when both of ya'll need the win and he has no high stones left. but say if a 5 or 6 pound stone comes out then u are goin to wanna bid atleast the 4, but i usually go for the 5, TRY TO SAVE UR 6 UNLESS U KNOW HE IS GOIN TO PLAY THE 6. in that case u will tie and all three stones stay out and u bid for a new stone. this is where ur strategy comes in, say u played the 2 earlier and he played the 5. now u have ur 5 left but his next highest is the 4, so you win all the stones that were left up there. hope this helped. if not just let me know where i lost u and i'll try to elaborate more.
