Ludachris5150
I know that I would need a + run from the front to back battery and then + from the back to the amplifier. But is it necessary to have a negative run from the front to back? or can I just ground the 2nd battery to the frame or something? Rebuild in progress... carshateme
You can do it on your frame as long as it's clean, shiny metal. Just take a grinder and grind the paint off to where you want to ground your battery too. I do it with all my electrical parts in my car. Although it's recommended by mechanics to run the ground back to the battery....but it's not required. To save money and such...everything is grounded to the frame. *tails lights, blah blah blah* New build coming soon. sprkn_ranger
You can just ground to the frame, just make sure the spot you ground to is sanded down to bare metal. Have you done the big 3 yet?
