Enough electrical?

So I'll be running a bc3500 at .67 to begin with. I wanted to double check and make sure my calcs are close to what my needs will be.

For the time being with one amp I plan on running 2 stock Alts, around 60 amps at idle each, 4 agm batts with 65ah and 4 runs of pos and 4 neg of 1/0 from front to rear bank. I think that should suffice for the single amp..

Then as funds come in I will be grabbing 2 singer 350a Alts 200 idle and maybe two more matching battery's to go along with another 3500 after the electrical is up to par to run both.. Same runs front to back then more runs from back bank to amps..

Both setups will have a mla module for 15.4 charging daily.. So one amp should pull around 350-380 amps and according to my fist calcs 60a per alt is 120 plus 65ah per battery is 260 and 260 plus 120 = 380.. Minus 40a to run vehicle which leaves ~340a which is just a tad lower than demands.. Is it safe or should I get a 5th or 6th battery before I run the first amp

You will be fine, I am running my truck right now off 1 160 amp alt and 5 batcap 4000s, but I am running 2 3500d.1s, I have drop but I don't full tilt it for long I am waiting on new alts. But you will have some drop but not much. Just remember this if your alts amp output doesn't match what you amp is pulling you will have voltage drop. So if you have 120 amps worth of alt then you can only run around 1500 watts without drop. Granted that is at idle so I would suggest reving to help maintain voltage.

Well I thought about it and i can do 2 batts equivalent to the deka intimidator grp31 100ah to go with the two under hood "78" series and add two more 31s soon there after just to run the one 3500.. When I can afford the new

Alts I'll think about adding a second amp.. Till then it's Savin for batters

You should be fine with those batts with one 3500.

We shall see, my plan is for a nice daily setup, with alot of demo time.. So hopefully everything goes as planned..

Quick question tho, an mla module, if i purchased one would the same one work with the stock Alts and the singer 350a ones? Or would that require a new one

If it is 4 pin plug it will work with either of them.

That's what I thought, sometimes I like to bounce my ideas on others as a way of catching something I may have missed. My build should resume in the coming weeks.
