The question is which will benefit me more in the short term, the 250a alternator or a big back battery like a D3100? Im going to buy one of those now and then the other around the end of the month. (system will be running 2000-2400 rms during this time) - Right now running 1200 watts on just the stock alt and the big3 my voltage starts at about 14.6 and then slowly declines to about 14.2 when I get to where Im going. And i just charged my batts once a week on a charger......and i ran 3k rms fine 99 expedition Two 15 inch dc audio xls Ported box tunned to 34 hrtz Soundstream pcx.2000d(better amp soon) 0 gauge big three(soon) Yellow top,(more batts soon) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
