6" x 25' = 12.5 sq. ft. of material for $13.

Covering with two layers means you will only achieve 6.25 sq. ft. of coverage with that roll of material, thus equating to be about $2.08 to treat 1 sq. ft. of sheet metal in your car.

Compare to actual sound deadener...

10 sq. ft. of Damplifier = $40

Only 25% coverage is needed (you don't have to double up or even achieve 100% coverage) to achieve similar or better results, thus...

10 sq. ft. of Damplifier can treat 40 sq. ft. of sheet metal... this equates to about $1 a sq. ft. to treat the same area.

Simplified:

Two layers of P&S @ 100% coverage = 6.25 sq. ft. for $13 = $2.08 a sq. ft.

One layer of Damplifier @ 25% coverage = 40 sq. ft. for $40 = $1 a sq. ft.

Please check my math, but I'm pretty sure that's correct...
