carshateme
Okay...since I can't get DC audio subs on my budgets, I've been looking around and noticed Digital Design subwoofers were affordable to me, Are they good subwoofers? I like to research before I start getting interested in buying stuff. In the future I want to enter in SPL competition, but with my car I won't stand a chance in the high watt categories. So I'm going to stick to the low watt ones, so how do they work? Quote New build coming soon. jeffrm
DDs(digital design) from what ive heard are good subs. You could also look into RD or Atomic and see if they are in your price range. SS4Luck
Its not that you cant get DC on your budget, Its you dont want the DC you can afford... I got two kickers an amp and all the wiring youll need that ill sell ya for $600... i think your asking quite a bit for dual 12s and an amp though for new stuff Quote lol or you can just start hooking shit up together and blow up speakers and your amp

Watch the bass
Are you sure that the DD´s are low pricder than the DC´s? What subs did you compared? Quote "in the abundance of water, the fool is thirsty" Bob Marley
audiofanaticz
Any DD woofer is by far more expensive then a DC woofer.... If you cant afford DC audio, you sure as hell cant afford DD audio even if the woofer was used and beat too hell.

Thomas B
Let me ask a few questions? What type of car you got and what type of build are you doing? Wall, trunk give me some idea and I might can help with some ideas. There is alot of choices out there. Low wattage large cone area check out obsidian 18's Skar makes some good inexpensive subs so does sundown. My openion is if you are trying to compete on a budget dd is not the brand for you. thats my .02¢ Quote 91' CRX Si HU - Alpine cda-7995 All stock interior Amp - Crescendo bc3500 Subs - 4 sa 10 d1 spl's Batt - 3 x 100 ah 149.5 Street beat Integra Build Log
Thomas B
O.K. I just started doing comps but you are going to find the low wattage cats. got some serious players. We have stock cars under 600 doing 158 down here using crx's. Those cars are so over powered. Find you a class you vehicle can excel in. It's all about finding you a nich. carshateme
95 buick Buick Skylark; trunk dimensions are quite small, 26w x 15.5h x 34d, I honestly don't want to wall it off, considering I have a lot of friends who ride along with me, but that's only in the winter. I have my Impala which is the spring, summer, fall car.. Quote New build coming soon.
