im going to build a system for my sister and i was thinking of geting 2 sa v2 8s on a hfi 1500 or would it be better to get a sa 12 with the same amp both setups at 1 ohm. both boxes would be around 2 cubes tuned to 35hz with about 18 inches of port per foot, which setup would be louder. would more cone area of the 8s be better?

i think this qualifies as a vs thread. vs threads are no-no's.

more cone area is louder, but the difference in this case would pry be negligible.

go with the cheaper option.

Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs.

More box builds

some cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches!

I'm with captain stupid.

I would say the 2 8th in case of more motorforce. Question did you have the HFI amp, them any good.

Here a link to a amp that´s do rated and is well known as bang buck product.

Yea i already have the hfi amp i used to have it in my car i think it probably does around 1200 watts since it has 2 70 amp fuses like the brutus 1200 so they probably share some stuff between the two.
