ZachAdams Posted February 10, 2012 Report Share Posted February 10, 2012 350 from what? and it can be done but not going to be easy or cheap. and if your really serious/dedicated enough i guess lol your best bet is getting an lt1 or ls1 bolted up to a 700r because for it to be legal the engine being swapped in from a vehicle of the same year of the recieving vehicle or newer. on top of that it MUST be smog passable and obd2 compliant. not going to happen with a say gen1 350 on a turbo 350. only way really to go about it is a ls or lt on a painless custom harness. also why stiffer springs??? -Zach- '88 K5 - '01 cbr929rr Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
bass_stalker Posted February 10, 2012 Author Report Share Posted February 10, 2012 stiffer springs because i,m sure the 350/383 would weigh down the front end more than the i6 does currently. as for the legality thing i did not know that, i was actually looking at getting an older 350 and rebuilding it since there are so many of them and there are alot of aftermarket parts, another reason would be because the older 350's are carbed instead of fuel injected are those regulations about smog and obd2 for every state or is a it a state to state basis?
