I'm looking at these woofers but am not exactly sure as to which would be better for what I want. A groundpounder-type and good on the low-end, i.e. chopped or slowed songs. 1300rms daily with a box built to eithers needs. Just an overall SQL sub. Would like a 15 either way with possibly an upgrade to 16-1700rms daily. Throw the BTL out there if thats cool too but 1300rms for a while. Thx

get a Q with the BP option. that will allow you your upgrade down the road...my $.02

just watch the gains a bit and you should be fine. get the BP option though cause that will allow you increase the wattage you can give it by a few hundred...imo, if you get the bp option and arent crazy with the gains then you shouldnt have any worries

If you want spl go for the Bl. I have Bl 18s and my bro has a Q18. The Bl easily wins for loudness and the sq IMO isn't that different. A loaded Bl will play fine off of 1300rms and allow you the ability to increase power later on without changing out your sub.
