What mids did you go with to keep up with the power you are running?

Currently I have 4 Kicker KS 6.5 components and will be adding 4 AQ supertweets, run off AQ120.4 but in the next few months the doors will likely get a make over. I don't think that will be even close to keep up with the 15s.

So how are you liking the head unit? I want to get that one very soon, Is the navigation pretty quick on it?

The head unit is awesome, by far the best kenwood double din I have owned. Everything in the unit is fairly quick, very low lag times between screen transitions.

Update 5/14/12

Alternator Install is DONE!!!!

16 runs of Stinger Pro/HPM 1/0 front to back!!!

Batcap 3000 fully wired with custom copper bar terminals and Hooker fuse blocks!!!

DONE!!!

Now I must say thanks to Mike, Eric and Josh at Mechman for all their help with working the regulator bugs out with me over the phone and everything works perfectly!!! I have one regulator controlling 2 alts at a time (each regulator has a heavy duty relay and switch in my center console), so I can leave two alts off when daily driving around town for a little better fuel mpg. Also Josh helped me figure out a way to keep the dash light off in the message center since the stock alt plug isn't plugged into anything, that battery light was getting on my nerves. I took a female 4 pin plug and just connect the two middle wires together and plugged that into the stock plug, battery light GONE!!!! Did all the mods to the Quad bracket as well like in the review done about a year ago, bracket is nice and straight and all the alts line up great. I must say I am very pleased at this point, knowing I have a rock SOLID electrical is gonna make this build go alot smoother.

So jealous of you getting your slippage on your alts under control... My shits walking all over the place. Gonna try to replace an idler pulley to a larger size and see if that helps. Any suggestions? Oh and p.s. the whole yellow theme is pretty awesome. Don't see many people rocking that color.

You have to make sure your tensioner is brand new, use a GATES HD belt, use the biggest pulleys you can on the alts, use biggest idle pulleys you can and make sure that all the alts line up perfectly with the rest of the accessories. I did all that and I still have a slight slip when I hammer down on the gas pedal to pass someone, but that's it.

And thanks man, MECHMAN said I am the only person that has a Yellow Quad kit setup that they have done. I like that lol.

And just FYI in case anyone is looking, that is my old belt from when the kit was all out of alignment with my other alts, it is a spare, I am gonna run it until the amps are in then put the brand new belt on.

Cool thing about this is if something under your truck breaks, with that power you could just pull a couple of those power wires and weld it back together!

Are you running dedicated grounds from the alts to the back batteries or just from the bracket to the frame up front? Trying to decide if its worth it to add the extra runs in my truck.
