baron_of_bass
A reputable source told me that a certain build house of 3500s (not sure of aq/sq is part of them) is causing a lot of issues with one of the leads (don't remember if it was the positive or negative). It causes the lead to get extremely hot and ends up in melting the solder which eventually ends up ruining the lead. They tried diagnosing the issue by switching the polarity to see if it had the same effect on the lead that was getting destroyed and it did. Idk if this applies to you but I hope it might help. I know you said the issue was extreme clipping but I thought you might find this helpful. Team Bass-Hz

It's not zenon I think it started with a J I for got the name bro. The person that told me about this to had to do with the amp internals. On your leads did both get torched or was the fire only caused by one either the positive or negative leads? Team Bass-Hz

On your leads did both get torched or was the fire only caused by one either the positive or negative leads? The fire was caused from the coil getting so hot the former caught on fire and, coil unwound, shorted and quit playing, cause the coil is now open, sub stopped moving, other subs barely moving, fanning the flames, and the flame came straight up cuz fire burns up not down, two direct leads were laying on the motor directly above the fire, those caught on fire from the open flame. I check all my amps a few days ago and all of them are functioning fine thru an oscope. If I stay above resting voltage caps hold voltage up and never moves at any amp. I can only get drop under heavy clipping.
