The Black Nasty - 6 HDC4 15s + 6 Q1-3500D.1s = 162s on music!!!

The build is looking great bro. I'm taking some ideas from this for sure. Also, that's pretty awesome that the AQ3500's have dual inputs to begin with. Don't see many amps in that power range with them. Then of course with your current supply neuroticism you go overkill with dual-dual inputs lol.

I for one and glad to see some "overkill" after seeing some many ppl trying to see how little they can get away with its nice to see someone who won't have to worry about voltage or frying his amps at all, lots of nice clean SEXY power. Good job for what its worth.

My current 95 Jetta Build w/

2 RD Sonance 10's with flatwind coils

Looking nice. Shell looks fairly strong right now. Can't wait to see it all together.

formerly known as Blue86f150

its a 4th order just because its tuned in the 40z doesnt mean it wont reach down and jiggle your balls at sub 30 hz frequencies.

Regardless if they were dipped platinum and were stuffed in Beyonce's twat.....way too fucking exspensive

And considering I will be running each pair of amps at 1.5 or .67 ohm strapped. They need as much current as I can put to them. If the subs will handle .67 strapped that is what I will be shooting for, I know these amps will handle that no problem with the electrical I have, just concerned about the coils handling 3k+ real power.

I don't see how the bottom diagram will work? It may just be me, being stupid, but it looks like none of the subs will actually be seeing power that way? Only 2 of them seem to be connected? One positive, on the top, one neg on the bottom?

Edit: Nevermind, I am just being stupid today! I got it now.

Anyway, can't wait to see it done and playing!!!

Cant wait to see it all together what are you doing for the front baffle paint, wrap, etc? as for the power i think subs will handle it. least i hope they do since im doing 4 3.5s on 4 hd3 guess one of us will find out soon lol.

The next steps are as follows

- finish the shell, which includes fiberglassing the loading corners then sand then apply filler

-primer and seal the interior of the shell with port wall in place(need to assemble the port still it is just 3 layers of mdf)

-prep interior of shell for base coat and then clear coat

-wetsand/buff/polish clear coat on interior of shell

-wax interior of shell

-attach a few layers of front baffle, then attach remaining layers painted and prepped in same matter as interior of shell

-make side trim panels and paint them as well for the amps to mount on

Then a bunch of other shit, but that gets the wall part done.

So I am painting it yes with auto body paint clear coated buffed waxed everything tons of work yes but looks the best yes lol.
