*vid* My Amp Issue Explained, Please Help Me!

Recommended Posts

let me rephrase that.

before it stopped did you have bad drops?

it kept shutting down so i figured i didnt have enough power so i bought the kinetik and planned to get alternator but batteries were all holding good charge so i didnt get new alternator.

I checked voltage when car was off, when car was running, and when system was cranking and the voltages were great.

I thought i fixed the problem when i got the kinetik until day or so later is shut off agian...

The Protect light turns red, then the power light turns red, usually if its all good the power light would be green.

I had bad electrical issue before all this happened like my car shut off and so i was going to get alternator but its been working fine now and with the kinetik all the batteries read great voltage

maybe you blew a channel or all the channels on the amp.

or maybe your impedance is just so low it switches to protect automatically.

give up on it, and get a new amp, save you the hassle

i dont think its the amp, i test another amp same issue its power issues, nothing internally is burnt out or looks wrong with the amp so i dont think thats the problem.
