SnowDrifter
got new rcas and tried hooking up both the subs different times and still no power. im guessing its the amp then. dammit Turn the SSF all the way down, the low pass all the way up, and the gain all the way up. See if it makes any sound And some head units can turn off certain outputs - make sure the sub setting on the head unit is on, or better yet - just reset it to be double sure Edited February 15, 2012 by SnowDrifter Quote ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444

carshateme
Take a 9v battery or AA battery, hook it up to your subwoofers. If they move, then the subwoofers are not your problem. Make sure everything is properly attached. A guy recently had the same problem, went to figure out his RCA weren't plugged in all the way. Sub woofer may be disconnected. Edited February 15, 2012 by carshateme Quote New build coming soon. LZTYBRN
It would help if you specifically addressed all the items on the checklist. He took the time to write it and made it easy for you, and you just basically ignored it. Also, what equipment are you running?
asianjack
it works now. had to go back and read the manual for the h/u. only way to get access to the rear speakers settings is if it was in off. thanks everyone for the help.
