BrandonT94 Posted February 14, 2012 Report Posted February 14, 2012 Looking to add bus bars to a design I'm working on but I'm not sure what metal to use. Do i go with the aluminum and use aluminum wiring or use copper for both? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

SmallTruk Posted February 14, 2012 Report Posted February 14, 2012 Go with aluminum. It's easier to come by and much cheaper than copper. If you do come across some copper that's useable, get a spray can of the battery/electronics sealant they sell I auto parts stores and it'll keep it from corroding.
