zanekeimigdesigns
How important is it to smooth out edges on the inside of a box around ports and such? Ive seen some people make little 45's around port corners etc...
LoudBimmer
it will gain you anywhere for .1 to 1db ( not really sure on how many db's) on TL, but you will not hear the difference.
412 CVX
In some cases it reduces port noise Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs. zanekeimigdesigns
I am alot smarter about engines than i am with stereos but with engines its all about getting more air in smoother flowing, that being said in a vented box the smoother the interior surface in the port where the air is flowing in and out wouldnt it operate better or am i splitting hairs? OrionStang
Could help on the meter, but probably not to the ear. At the very least, round over the port corner, and use a 45 or pvc to ensure the width remains consistent through the turn.
