This will be my first time doing this so bare with me here.. the Box will be going in a 97 grand am. The space I have to work with is 38 width 17 height and 17-19 depth. I'm a noon at this LOL. This is a great website and I know you guys can tag along and help me. But as of right now I have a sealed box hittin 143.1 on the window. First time I metered it. Good? I have 2 15's in there now. I had a ported box in there before but took it out and sold it cause my amp didnt have a subsonic filter to tune the port. 412 CVX Posted February 21, 2012 Report Share Posted February 21, 2012 I checked orion's website and they recommend 3 cubic feet of airspace for each sub. since you have two, you would need 6 cubic feet AFTER displacements. you don't even have 6 cubic feet BEFORE displacements, therefore you do not have enough airspace to run your 2 15's in a ported box.
