walling an explorer

Recommended Posts

i know i want to upgrade from 2 15's to either 4 or 2 18's. my question is why haven't i seen a wall behind the back seat in four door suv's? i would like to run a wall just because it seems like it should be louder but everyone that has a back seat always run the set up subs up port back and i just want to know why that is? thanks for clearing this up for me.

i suppose if you're going to go through all the trouble of walling your car off, you might as well do it at the B Pillar. it's a lot louder that way.

what car is this for?

Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs.

More box builds

some cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches!

I'm with captain stupid.

Explorers are really hard to wall at the c pillar and still be able to fit amps and batteries unless your running a small set up.

its not gonna be too big. just 4 15's it's lookin like. 2 amps one bat. not too crazy. i just don't know why i don't see it more often. is subs up port back still the better way to go?

That you might be able to pull off. Just looking at mine without the rear trim in...you might be able to find the cubes. The backseat screws with you because of the lean. I have an 03 xls.

what about a small scale horizontal clam shell? that way the lean of the seats would go with the box?

I had my Explorer walled behind the rear seats at one point in time.
