Chrysler200s
So I recently purchased a D3400 for my build, it was going to replace my stock battery. Well, it doesnt fit, I swear I measured three times Well I decided to just buy a D1200 to replace my stock battery and mount the D3400 in the trunk. Two questions, Do I have to run a ground from battery to battery or is okay to ground the battery in the back, to the frame? and Which battery do I run off of to my amps? SnowDrifter
Wire the + on the front battery to the + on the rear battery. Put a fuse as close as you can to each battery. If you have a frame or something that is 1 solid piece to gound them to: just do that. If your only grounding option is a body panel weded to another body panel, that is bolted to the frame or something like that: Just make another negative run up to the front battery so you have a better connection. Wire the amp to the rear battery. Hope that helped!
