hey... if im getting 2x "dual 4ohm" subs http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/Pr...ProductID=18357 what kind of amp should i use to push them good? i mean like how many ohms stable should the amp be need to match up with the (2) dual 4ohm subs if it was a 2channel amp? and if im looking for a mono amp... how many ohms would match up to the (2) dual 4ohm.

the rms on the subs are 500w-1000w 3000w peak

if you have good ideas of what amps would work good mono or 2channel, please leave posts... (and links if you can)

if your getting dual 4ohm subs you want a single amp that will do a 1 ohm load or two amps that will do max (or the rated power your looking for) at two ohms

Some people need a sympathetic pat... on the head...with my hammer

you can wire each sub down to 2 ohms. on a 2 channel, your gonna want something that can do whatever rms you want to run.. ex:1000

sorry that sounds confusing lol get this..

2 channel : 1000 rms x 2 at 2 ohms

or mono : 2000 rms x 1 at 1 ohm

like he said hes looking for a mono amp....so he would need 2 mono amps that each put out 1k at 2 ohms or one amp that puts out 2k at 1 ohm....
