I found out that after shooting my 1911 i have actually become more accurate with my Glock as well lol... I had to requal for handgun liscense today and shot a 285 out of 300.... I threw a few shots when i had to shoot Weak hand supported because im not used to shooting that way Thanks! The more trigger time you get the better you will get across the board. The 1911 helps you focus on fundamentals mor ein my opinion because the single action allows you to concentrate on sight picture and alighnment more than ....damn.... when is this gun going off when you shoot a glock. It all translates into better habits all around though no matter what gun you shoot. I had to qualify the other day for my department and shot a 265/270 which is a 98% but we shoot a timed course at diffrent distances. A some guns, 1911's, make you focus Rolex you sicken me. I got a couple 5" 9mm Ar's that are the cats ass. In 556 those shorties are flame throwers. Rolex you sicken me.
