Mikewood21 Posted February 25, 2012 Report Posted February 25, 2012 Hello everyone I recently ran four American bass hd 15"s off two crescendo bc3500s in a jeep srt8. Needless to say it was super loud on the high end but not very much on the low bass 30 to 35 hz. It was very peaky and It wasn't wat I expected. I guess that all depends on the subwoofer. It seems as if the American bass hd is more built for spl applications. Im looking for a sub that can crush lows. I was recommend to try the ascendant audio havoc 15(4)s, because there very good on the low end. Can you guys give me some suggestions on 15"s that have great low end bass.

certifiednut Posted February 25, 2012 Report Posted February 25, 2012 i have never personally heard the american bass hd 15 in person, but i would think that its inability to play low would be more dependent on the box size and tuning. between your power, and area of the subs, you chould be playing plenty low these orphans aren't going to feast on themselves
