Jeremy Amaru Garske Posted February 27, 2012 Report Posted February 27, 2012 Just picked up an RE Audio XXX 15" and am looking for the optimal box specifications. A few people I have talked to say that RE's recommended enclosure specifications are too small? They call for a 4.0 CU FT enclosure for a ported box. I am not going to be building the box myself, don't have the time to do it. It is going to be powered by a HiFonics Colossus (2011 LTD) ~3200w RMS (if their claims are true) Have a Kinetic HC2400 battery in the trunk, 180A CS144 alternator up front and a regular lead acid battery as the main battery. 0 Gauge all around.(Welding cable so its real 0 gauge. Lots of copper) Also going to be running an MTX Jackhammer 4 channel for the mids/highs. Car is a 1993 Buick Lesabre. PS, tried doing a search, but got extremely frustrated with it. Thanks, Jeremy.

Jeremy Amaru Garske Posted February 27, 2012 Author Report Posted February 27, 2012 A few people told me to shoot for more around 5.5 CU Ft. I know that 4.0 is what RE's little pamphlet said. What kind of results are you getting?
