Decaf
Loudness: Mid (without it I get hardly any bass) Subwoofer 2: 125 hz (currently +6) I think those would be the only two that effect sub? Any other ones you can think of or need? turn loudness off... no matter what you think, turn it off. its only meant to be used on low volumes Why at 125hz? How about 80/100hz instead, cant imagine the subs enjoy playing that high. Sub level should be at 0. When I had that unit I could go 38 clean. Last few volume clicks accounted for more than 1volt of signal. reset everything with EQ flat, no bass boost, using -5dB or -10dB. you might have been used to a lot of clipping with your previous setup. Decaf
Well, when it's off I don't get hardly anything deal with it, its not needed at all. there are other issues causing low output and that will not solve the problem
IKnowImLost224
Thanks a lot decaf, I'll go through and do it tomorrow. I'm in class till 10 tonight so it will be a little cold and dark. I could go up to 58 out of 62 with a clean signal

Decaf
Thanks a lot decaf, I'll go through and do it tomorrow. I'm in class till 10 tonight so it will be a little cold and dark. I could go up to 58 out of 62 with a clean signal If I remember the mvh goes up to volume 40. most newer pioneers that go to volume 62 are clean to volume 58-62 make sure you are not using no bass boost on the headunit either -5dB is quieter but safer -10dB is whats recommended for most users. if you play my crap you should use -5dB Edited February 27, 2012 by Decaf
IKnowImLost224
What kind of music do you make? Yeah this one goes up to 62.
Decaf
What kind of music do you make? Yeah this one goes up to 62. disregard it, i dont make anything.... if the mvh goes to 62 and you tested it clean to 58 then use 58. if you have speakers hooked up the the headunit then thats a different story, you can only go up as high as they sound good. you can use the dd-1 to test the headunits amp if you disconnect the speakers. Skullz
Just turn on the subwoofer output and turn the crossover off and set the gain from the sub out to max and see if you gain anything, if nothing still has changed try switching the phase and see if it helps.
